NEW FLOOR FOR OBO ES KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM

We are thrilled that one of the special projects for our ‘2023 Balik Eskwela’ has come to fruition and Kindergarten at Obo ES now has a new tiled floor. It has long been the wish of Teacher Josephine to be able to upgrade the floor surface because it was restricting floor activites. The children’s socks were turning red from the worn almagre surface, and it was unsafe for play due to chips and bumps.

This project was co-funded with Obo ES with an allocation of P5,000 from MOOE budget plus P41,850 from funds raised by the International Volunteers from Singapore who visited the school last June 5.

Teacher Josephine said “Thank you so much. We are all happy and excited with our new classroom floor. It is safer and cleaner for them and more fun learning while playing. Daghan gyud kaayong salamat sir Mike. Forever grateful of your kindness. Words may not be enough to express our gratitude but our hearts are full of it. Our hearts are full of glee and gratitude for your kindness and support. Daghang salamat.”

Thank You ma’am Judy V. Hayo (School Head), ma’am Josephine Entia (Kinder Teacher), and ma’am Windylen S. Amacna (Grade 1 Teacher) for your collaboration in making this project a success.

Thank You to the financial sponsors in Singapore for your support in making this possible. The children thank you with their big smiles!
