YOUR SUPPORT THIS YEAR MADE INCREDIBLE THINGS HAPPEN

You have made a big difference with your donations this year. Through your generosity and ongoing support, we delivered a number of key initiatives across 6 schools which have had a meaningful impact on these rural communities. A new school roof and learning resource centre in Cancabalong provided a major upgrade to school facilities. Continued investment in kindergarten programmes delivered Hexagonal tables for five schools to enhance the classroom environment.

Cebu was hit by several natural disasters towards the end of this year including the Bogo 6.9 earthquake at the end of September, and Typhoons Tino (Kalmaegi) and Uwan (Fung-wong) in quick succession in November. Luckily our six partner schools were not badly damaged. The infrastructure work we did in Cancabalong with the new roof and resource centre increased disaster preparedness resilience and provided safe shelter for some locally impacted families.

Projects completed with the support of our generous donors and sponsors this year include:

As 2025 draws to a close, I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to our partner school communities – school heads, teachers, admins, PTA, parents, focal persons, and pupils – for your strong collaboration throughout the year. The smile on the students faces and your warm welcome when we visit your schools makes it all worthwhile.

To our volunteers who make it possible to organise and run our missions with a lot of work behind the scenes to coordinate the purchasing, delivery and admin, my heartfelt thanks to you.

And finally, to all our financial supporters, without you none of this would be possible. My sincere thank you for your ongoing generosity, support, and encouragement over the past 10 years to enable us to give back and pay it forward in these school communities. Looking forward to your continued support next year.

Together we can make a difference in 2026…

Mike Hickey – Project Coordinator, Project Ripple
