As part our August 2025 funding round for sponsorship of Hexagonal Tables in kindergarten classrooms at our partner schools, we are delighted to support Kindergarten Focal Mrs. Ma. Teresa C. Belarma at Lingatong Elementary School in Dalaguete.
This project aims to upgrade facilities for the young learners by replacing their old rectangular tables with four (4) new hexagonal tables as mandated by DepEd’s Omnibus Policy on Kindergarten Education, outlined in DepEd Order No. 47, s.2016.

The specifications of these hexagonal tables are stated in DepEd Order No. 93, s.2009 (Enclosure No. 3 and No. 4.1). These specifications ensure that the furniture is age-appropriate, durable, and conducive to the developmental needs of kindergarten pupils.

This design is preferred for early years learners allowing for flexible seating arrangements, fostering interaction and teamwork, which is especially valuable for young children developing social and cognitive skills. It also encourages a sense of community and shared learning experiences, promoting both individual and group learning.

In addition to the four (4) hexagonal tables, the funding for Lingatong ES also covers two (2) storage cabinets to maintain an organized and accessible space for instructional materials and student resources.
Using local labour, the manufacture of 5 customised hexagonal tables and 2 cabinets was completed at a cost of ₱20,000.
Another successful project delivered by Project Ripple in partnership with Lingatong Elementary School.
