SPECIAL NEEDS RESOURCES DONATED TO DOONG ES

We are very pleased to be able to provide financial assistance in the amunt of ₱10,000.00 for the Special Needs Program (SNED) at Doong Elementary School. Recognizing the efforts of Special Needs Education Teacher Mam Eunicel E. Biscayno and her requirements to provide learning materials for her students, we are delighted to partner with her to provide these essential resources for her specialized curriculum needs.

SPED, or Special Education, in the Philippines refers to the educational provisions and support systems designed for learners with special needs, including those with disabilities, within the Department of Education (DepEd). DepEd’s SPED programs aim to enhance access and quality of education for these learners, ensuring they have appropriate support mechanisms and accommodations within the school system.

DepEd employs teachers who have undergone formal training in SPED and are currently working with learners with special needs. DepEd aims to ensure that children with disabilities in rural and far-flung areas have access to education. Doong Island is definitely a remote and isolated location, and we are delighted to be able to supplement the schoool budget for this vital work, to ensure no child gets left behind.

Making a real difference in support of the special education needs of these young learners fills us with gratitude and respect for Special Needs Teachers.
