We are thrilled to unveil a new dedicated School Learning Resource Center (SLRC) building at Cancabalong Elementary School. Space is really at a premium on the small hilly site where the school stands but with some creativity and hard work a new building has arisen. Using a mixture of new and recycled materials this new room will now provide a multi-purpose space for reading center, library, learning center, faculty room, and administration office. It will be a home for our growing library thanks to donations from our generous donors.

Roofing materials discarded from the recent project to replace the school roof were recycled and repurposed to avoid waste and reduce cost.

We look forward to creating many happy reading and learning moments for our young learners in this new dedicated space.

Some of the books which were donated to the school library will be available to the students very soon.

Using local labour, this project was completed at a cost of ₱70,066 funded by donation from a private stakeholder.
Another successful project delivered under our DepEd Adopt-A-School program partnership.
