We were delighted to partner with Kindergarten Teacher Mam Josephine T. Entia (Adopt A School partner coordinator) to fund the construction of hexagonal tables for her Kindergarten classroom at Obo Elementary School. This builds upon the provision of a new tiled classroom floor in June 2023 to upgrade the facilities for the smallest learners with the biggest smiles at the school.

This design is preferred for early years learners allowing for flexible seating arrangements, fostering interaction and teamwork, which is especially valuable for young children developing social and cognitive skills. It also encourages a sense of community and shared learning experiences, promoting both individual and group learning. 

Using local labour, the manufacture of 5 customised hexagonal tables was completed at a cost of ₱16,755. The Kinder pupils were very surprised and excited when they arrived for class to take their seats at their new tables. We love seeing those big smiles!
