2025 LIPAYRAN INTEGRATED SCHOOL – TURNOVER OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES

On April 10 we visited Lipayran Integrated School by boat from Bantayan to Lipayran Island to distribute school supplies. Salamat kaayo to School Head Mr Ismael D. Ompad, teachers, pupils and parents for the warm welcome. And special mention to Grade 1 teacher mam Syril R. Forrosuelo for the coordination work for this visit.

We were delighted to be able to provide audiovisual equipment in the form of 3 x 55″ TCL TV with Movable Stands to increase the number of TV’s in classrooms. The two kindergarten teachers also received educational materials to enhance their classrooms and the pupils were very excited to see them.

Reaching Lipayran island is a logistical challenge including a ferry from Hagnaya Port to Bantayan Island then loading cargo into a pumpboat at the Municipal Wharf for the 1.5hr crossing. Then the hauling of the goods up to the school.

Both kindergartens were very excited to receive the new educational materials for their classrooms.

I presented the new Project Ripple t-shirts customised with their shool logo and tote bags to Sir Ismael, mam Syril, mam Merlyn, and ms Maricel and was very happy to accept a Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of Project Ripple.

A big thank you again to everyone at Lipayran Integrated School for taking the time for the Turnover of Donations while they were busy preparing for the Graduation and Moving Up Ceremonies.
