Cebu recently experienced the biggest typhoon since Ruping back in 1991. Unfortunately the school buildings at Cancabalong and Obo Elementary Schools suffered damaged roofs and windows and most of the teaching materials were soaked and damaged. Dwellings of local families were also badly damaged by the high winds, with roofs blown off. We are still assessing the damage.

In the wake of the Typhoon we provided much needed support in the form of materials to perform repairs to school buildings and dwellings.
