We were delighted to welcome 7 volunteers from Singapore, Nederlands and Philippines who arrived in Cebu to take part in our 2nd Volunteers Trip at the school on Friday Dec 9th. They did a lot of fundraising for our Christmas appeal and raised much needed funds for our programs. They also collected children’s clothing, educational DVD’s, and stuffed toys from the families of RBS employees in Singapore which we shared to the needy Obo families. The Volunteers also helped to purchase and wrap Secret Santa gifts which were distributed to all the students just in time for Christmas. The Volunteers had a craft session with kindergarten which they loved, then proceeded to visit all the classrooms to introduce themselves and have some Q&A. The highlight of the trip was working with the students and teachers to paint a wall mural on the side of the kinder classroom at the school entrance. a A huge thank you as always to all who collected and donated for this event. Your generated huge smiles and happiness.
