improvements works are always going on at the school as we fund various initiatives with the support of our very generous sponsors. This month we have three highlights to update on…
Magnetic Whiteboards have been delivered to all 7 classrooms now and the teachers and students are really excited to receive them. The first ‘test run’ board was delivered to Grade I in Sept/Oct and was put to use immediately by Mam WinWin for math lessons with the magnetic numbers we provided in August. The children love this interactive method where they can manipulate the numbers and use the coloured pens to solve puzzles. Working in small groups they benefit from peer group learning in mixed ability teams. This is another valuable addition to the tool set for our teaching force. We would like to express our gratitude to Miss Gayle, Mam Fidz and Sir Jessie, our very generous OFW supporters based in Singapore. We wish many blessings for you!

Toilet facilities in the Grade VI classroom were left unfinished due to lack of funds for labour and materials, so recently we provided the small sum of financial support required to complete the work. This is now finished and has improved the sanitation and hygiene conditions for the eldest children at the school.

Classroom furniture has been delivered to Grade I to upgrade their storage for educational materials. This enables us to replace old furniture which has deteriorated over time. It also brightens up the classroom for our young learners adding more colour and making it a pleasant learning environment for them.
